The Charity Crossroads faces their own crossroads

The Charity Crossroads has made the decision to close their Chelmsford office. This is just one of the four Essex based support offices that has had to close in the last five years due to lack of funding. Other closures include; Southend, Basildon and Rochford. The charity does some fantastic work in the community and the service is about giving time - improving the lives of carers by giving them time to be themselves and have a break from their caring responsibilities.   The Castle Point centre is now only one of the remaining eleven centres in Essex and still relies upon donations and funds from local businesses and the general public. 

We at KK Silk Lingerie would like to do our bit by supporting the charity this year. We will donate 5% of our online revenue to the organisation. We are also selling special charms phones at just £2.50 each, and 50 pence of which will also be donated to the charity.  

Rosalind Klass, Managing Director of KK Silk Lingerie explains more; “Crossroads is a local charity to us and one that is very close to our hearts. We were very saddened to hear of so many closures within our area and thought that the charms would be a great way to promote the charity and raise funds.”
